Welcome to the SCTE Crystal Coast Chapter website.

The Crystal Coast Chapter was formed in 2010 to provide technical training for Cable Television professionals in Eastern North Carolina.  The Crystal Coast Chapter holds training seminars five times a year.  These seminars are free to SCTE members.  Visit our Upcoming Event Schedule to see what events are scheduled this year. The success of the Crystal Coast Chapter is due to great vendor support, expert speakers, and the dedication of our members helping members.

Join us at the Crystal Coast Vendor Exhibition on May 15, 2013 at the Greenville Convention Center.  It will have more than 25 exhibitors from around the county to provide “hands-on” instruction about latest the CATV and fiber optic products.  A technical session will be held in the morning on utilizing and troubleshooting with DOCSIS 3 meters.  In the afternoon a presentation will be giving on proactive network maintenance using return equalization.  This event will also provide a great opportunity to network with others in the telecommunication industry.  If you are interested in showing everyone your skills or knowledge in CATV or (IP) Internet Protocol come and participate in the Cable-Tec Games.  The vendor show is free to SCTE members.  You can visit SCTE’s chapter events website to register.

The day after the Vendor Exhibition we will be sailing out of the Morehead City Seaport for a full day of fishing in the Atlantic Ocean.  This is the third year we have organized this event and it has been a great success.  The Continental Shelf deep sea charter boat will take you to the locations that guarantee that you catch a lots of fish.   You can visit SCTE’s chapter events website to register.
