Recent meeting news;
Our most recent meeting, held on Jan 22nd., 2010, was hosted by Comcast Cable in the Florida Keys at the Banana Bay Resort on Marathron Key. The topic was “Preserving the Return Path” presented by Dr. Robert Howald, PhD. – Customer Systems Architect, Technology Office, Home & Networks Mobility, Motorola.

News flash from the 2009 Cable-Tec Expo;
One of our South Florida Chapter members distinguished himself in Denver at the 2009 Cable-Tec EXPO buy winning 3rd. place Overall in the International Cable Games competion ! ! Bobby Singer, is from Comcast Palm Beach Gardens and was the overall winner at our local Cable Games held in conjunction with the Chapters Vendors Showcase back on May 6th. . By winning the local Cable Games event he received a expense paid trip to Denver to attend the Expo and participate in the International Games.
Bob Colwell (second from left) captured 1 st. place overall in the Cable Games at EXPO 2009. Ron Poole (center) finished 2nd. overall, and Bobby Singer (second from right finished 3rd. overall. Joining the trio were Bob Foote (left) and SCTE Cable Games Subcommitte Chairman Doug Nolan (right).
